About
I'm Steve – a product designer from London, UK — with over 8 years experience crafting and delivering digital experiences from product design and frontend development to brand identity and motion graphics.
Over the past few years, I've leaned into frontend development and nowadays find myself both designing and shipping new products and features every day. From design system maintenance to feature development — I'm someone that loves to design simple and intuitive interfaces, whilst working side by side with developers in the codebase.
I'm a specialist by trade, but a generalist at heart, and enjoy getting my hands dirty with just about anything that benefits the end user or business. Whether that be user research, integrating GA4 with our codebase, creating email campaigns or building marketing websites in Webflow — I believe we can push the needle forward in more ways than one.
In my time as a designer and developer, I've worked on B2C, B2B, SaaS and internal tools — across the health, wellness and marketing industries. I'm a laid back, hard-working and pragmatic designer — passionate about finding the sweet spot between user needs and business objectives.

As the founding product designer at Social Tip, I'm responsible for the overall UX/UI and design systems across our mobile app and two web apps. As a small team, my role also stretches in to frontend development (React + TS and Tailwind CSS), product management, data analytics (GA4) and upkeep of our marketing website on Webflow.

On my return to Reset Health, I was responsible for the overall UX/UI and design systems across our mobile app, web app and our no-code CMS solution in Webflow. After rejoining in 2023, my key focus was on scaling the platform through localisation, white-labelling and launching in new markets.

After being promoted, my focus shifted to overhauling the appointment booking system on our B2C/marketplace platform and point of sale checkout solution on our B2B/SaaS platform. In this time, we launched new functionality enabling the business to scale in to group bookings and accepting new (and more flexible) payment methods at checkout.

Aug 2022 – May 2023
In my time as a senior product designer at Fresha, myself and another designer overhauled the look & feel of the B2C/marketplace following a recent rebrand, and bolstered out our mobile and web app functionality to improve the user and brand partner experience. In this time, we also re-launched the B2C/marketplace mobile app, migrating away from React Native, with a newly hired team of iOS and Android engineers.

As the founding product designer at Reset Health, I was responsible for the overall UX/UI of our mobile and web app and launching our 0-1 MVP product in the UK. As a small business, I made use of no-code solutions to integrate with our codebase to give our medical content writers more autonomy when tech resource was slim.

As a designer at Bow & Arrow, I was responsible for the overall UX/UI and brand identity for various ventures for clients, including British Airways and John Lewis. As a small team of designers and strategists, I was responsible for user research, usability testing and rapid prototyping to test demand for our ventures — which often relied on no-code tools to deliver MVP solutions.
